Sue Eiges Hansen
Susan Eiges Hansen is a College Counselor practicing in Santa Monica, California. Since 2007, Sue has been helping families navigate the complex college admissions procedure and develop strategies for successful college placement. After experiencing the process firsthand with her own two daughters, Sue realized that college admissions was a daunting exercise requiring advance and systematic planning coupled with proper time-lines. Initially, Sue began her practice working primarily with student-athletes, but has since expanded to working with all types of students. Sue has been with L.A. School Scout LLC since 2010.
Sue received her Bachelor degree from the University of Florida and her Master from California State University, Northridge. Prior to launching her college counseling career, she worked for twenty years at three major hospitals in the Los Angeles area as a program director, medical educator, and a research librarian. Sue is a member of WACAC - Western Association for College Admission Counseling.
Sue is married to Stuart Hansen, and they reside in Santa Monica. They are the parents of two daughters - their oldest, a recent graduate of the University of Virginia, and their younger daughter is graduating from Stanford.
